EXPLORATORY STUDIES

Exploratory Studies is a two-semester program that helps students discover the major that best reflects their interests and ambitions. With the guidance of our Retention & Recruitment Specialists and university faculty, students are given the luxury of a non-pressured environment to consider their future. Each student is assigned an experienced Retention & Recruitment Specialist who is an expert in each of the 新万博app_新万博体育-娱乐*官网@ Hills State University schools and degree programs. A course schedule is created for each student specifically tailored to their interests and ambitions, allowing them to fulfill general requirements, while exploring all that 新万博app_新万博体育-娱乐*官网@ Hills State University has to offer.

GS 100: Exploratory Studies

This 1-credit course is one of the highlights of the Exploratory Studies program. It is offered in the fall semester of your first year at 新万博app_新万博体育-娱乐*官网@ Hills State and is taught by your Retention & Recruitment Specialist. Though not required, it is strongly recommended that each Exploratory Studies student takes advantage of this opportunity.
